Welcome to rostartups.ro — an open, community-powered map of Romanian tech startups. These terms govern your use of the site and your submissions to it. By using the site or submitting a startup, you agree to these terms.

1. Who we are

Romania Startup Map is operated by Information Technology Banat Computing Group SRL (CUI 34563165), a Romanian company. Questions or removal requests: contact@rostartups.ro

2. Listing is free — forever

Submitting your startup and appearing on the map is free and will remain free. We will never charge for a basic listing.

We may offer optional paid features in the future — such as featured placement, sponsored sector visibility, or job board posts — but these are enhancements, not requirements. Your free listing is never downgraded, hidden, or penalised if you choose not to use paid features.

3. Submitting a startup

By submitting a startup, you confirm that:

You are a founder, employee, or authorised representative of the company.
The information you provide is accurate and up to date.
The startup is a real, active company with a presence in Romania.
You are not submitting on behalf of a competitor to suppress or spam listings.

We reserve the right to reject, edit, or remove any submission that is inaccurate, misleading, duplicate, or otherwise inconsistent with the purpose of the map.

4. Your content, your ownership

You retain ownership of the information you submit. By submitting, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display, reproduce, and distribute that information on rostartups.ro and in any embeds or widgets derived from this platform.

We do not sell your startup's data to third parties.

5. Removal

To remove your startup from the map, email us at contact@rostartups.ro with the company name. We will action removal requests within 5 business days.

6. No guarantees

This is a community project operated on a best-effort basis. We do not guarantee uptime, data accuracy, or uninterrupted availability. The map is provided as-is.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by Romanian law. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Romania. As a Romanian consumer, you may also contact ANPC for consumer protection matters.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the platform evolves. Material changes will be noted with an updated date above. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance.
